Boston Real Estate Forum (BREF) important rules:

• Respect:
The golden rule; be respectful to everyone in the BREF community.

• Avatars & Signatures:
BREF encourages you to choose an avatar and create a signature. Signatures should not be created with the sole intent of advertising a product or service. Avatars should not be offensive in any way. Inappropriate material will be removed immediately.

• Advertising:
This is a real estate discussion forum. Do not bother posting material unrelated to Real Estate. Discussion threads are for discussions only. We don't mind if you mention your company or what you do as long as it's in the context of the discussion. Blatant advertising in discussion threads will not be tolerated. Posts that contain links which do not contribute to a thread will be considered spam and be deleted.

• Abuse / Flaming / Derogatory Comments:
Abusive Comments, Flaming, and derogatory insults or comments are strictly forbidden. If someone creates a thread, please do not respond unless you have something positive or helpful to add. If you find yourself being flamed or insulted by another member, contact a BREF administrator or moderator.

• Limitation of Liability:
BREF does not provide any warranties or guaranties of any sort for services found on our site. BREF will not be held liable for any damage or loss arising from work provided by any vendor, contractor, or service person found on the Boston Real Estate Forum or from any links provided by any of its members, for any reason, at anytime. Any opinions, comments or views expressed on this forum, attach themselves only to that of the poster and does not reflect the opinions of BREF Administrators. Every effort is made to monitor all posts, although we shall not be deemed liable for any damages or dispute arising from such a post.

These rules exist to keep the integrity of the Boston Real Estate Forum and for those viewing the forum. New members, of all ages, are actively encouraged to join in and post within this friendly community.

Rules have been updated copied from Mavidos added rule in the Open Forum.

When a thread is started, the first post must contain content relevant to the thread. A simple "title says all" will not do. If you are asking for an opinion, please provide your own. Please provide some information. Threads which the original post does not contain any relevant information will be closed and the thread creator will be given an "extra words" warning.


If you have a question or problem with this, please PM me or one of the other mods of this forum.

If you are creating a thread, and are curious about your original post being possibly against this rule, feel free to PM a mod to ask if its ok.
